The Traitors star Livi Deane has opened up about her friendship with fellow contestant Freddie Fraser after their heated clashes on the show, revealing how apologetic she’s been towards him.
The BBC series has had some extremely tense moments this year, particularly when accusations have been fired about who the Traitors could be. During last week’s episodes, Kasim Ahmed, Tyler Smith and Dan Bird were banished during roundtables after arousing suspicions from the other players, despite all actually being devout Faithfuls.
In an interview with Metro, Livi – who became the latest star to be murdered – spoke about her emotional altercations with Freddie, who she accused of being a Traitor on multiple occasions. In retrospect, the 26-year-old beautician and model admitted how bad she felt for her suspicion, and emphasised how close they actually are as friends in real life.
‘He’s put out there that we are friends. Me and Freddie talk every day, we FaceTime – we really get on. So it’s a shame that people really don’t think we are friends, because we genuinely are,’ she said. ‘That being said, I am still apologising to him every time I see myself have these altercations with him. Obviously you don’t see the whole thing, but I still apologise to him, and he’s like, “Liv, oh my god, honestly, it’s fine.”’.
