Tiger Woods' former caddie and close friend Steve Williams is set to release another tell-all book on his turbulent relationship with the golf legend. Williams, considered by many as the greatest caddie in golf history, played an integral role in all but one of Woods' first 14 major victories before the pair went their separate ways on bad terms in 2011.
Shortly after their acrimonious split, the New Zealander sparked controversy by making an extraordinary racist comment about his former partner, before they went over a decade without speaking despite Steve issuing a face-to-face apology. That was until the iconic duo finally reconnected and put their 12-year feud behind them in 2023, almost two decades since Woods, now 49, served as the best man at Williams' wedding.
Now, the 61-year-old is releasing a second book chronicling his rollercoaster ride with Tiger, which saw them claim 13 major championships together across a 12-year period. Williams, who spoke less glowingly about Woods in his 2015 book 'Out Of The Rough', has joined forces with Golf Digest journalist Evin Priest to give the definitive account of his time caddying for the sporting great in 'Together We Roared'.
Tiger Woods' ex-caddie Steve Williams is releasing another tell-all book on their relationship. Williams helped Woods win 13 of his first 14 majors before their acrimonious split in 2011. As well as recalling their highs on the golf course, including Woods' memorable shot on the 16th hole at the 2005 Masters to the famed Tiger Slam of 2000 and 2001, he also looks back at their close relationship away from the sport.
