The Foxes went into the game as heavy underdogs, having lost their previous seven games in the Premier League. The result meant it was the first time Spurs had been beaten by a team on such a run since 1912, 113 years ago. Just like Leicester, it was an East Midlands club that beat them then as well in Notts County.

He told the BBC: "It is a disappointing result, but at the same time I can't ask anymore from this group of players.
