And it's good news for neutrals because Spurs vs Newcastle is the most played Premier League fixture never to finish 0-0 (59 meetings). In fact, there have been 189 goals scored in games between the sides, which is the third highest scoring fixture in Premier League history.
That record looks set to grow this weekend with Ange Postecoglou's side scoring and leaking goals for fun, netting and shipping a combined 69 goals in 19 fixtures - the highest tally of any side in the division. Tottenham sit 11th in the division with 24 points at the midway stage, nine clear of the relegation zone and eight adrift from opponents Newcastle in fifth position.
Postecoglou is the second-favourite in the Premier League's managerial sack race, and it's not too difficult to see why given their current form. Spurs are winless in their last five Premier League home games, and they managed just one point from a possible nine over the festive period after defeats to Liverpool and Nottingham Forest, followed by a chaotic 2-2 draw with Wolves.
