Diddy has been accused of offering "millions" to have Tupac Shakur murdered. A previously unheard police interview has seen the disgraced music mogul named 47 times in relation to the murder of Shakur, who was gunned down in Las Vegas on September 13, 1996. His murder has always remained a mystery, with many people linked to the case. However, law enforcements have previously stated that Diddy has never been a suspect. He has previously denied the allegations.

Duane 'Keefe D' Davis has since been accused of the murder and is currently behind bars while awaiting trial. Davis had filed a case against him to be dismissed but prosecutors have since hit back in an 180-page filing, claiming that he had previously "confessed" to being involved in the murder of Tupac.

A transcript of Davis' "confessions", which were secretly recorded in a 2009 Las Vegas police interview was used in the filing, during which he shed light on allegations surrounding the murder. Diddy, who is currently behind bars on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution – all of which he denies, was a key topic in the lawsuit and previously unheard police interview.

In the interview, Davis, who has continued to plead innocent to the charge of murder said on tape to Detective Long at the Las Vegas Metro Police Department that he was "the boss" who had overseen three other Southside Crips on the crime – but alleged that Diddy had also played a part. In the recording, The Sun claims Long asked: "Does he play a role in this thing?" Davis responded: "Yeah.".
