LENNOX LEWIS has called for Tyson Fury to fight Anthony Joshua next following his bitter second defeat to Oleksandr Usyk. In May, Usyk became the first to defeat Fury with a stunning split-decision win in Saudi Arabia. This time back in Riyadh, rather controversially the Ukrainian won a 116-112 unanimous decision with only four rounds scored in Fury's favour.
With Usyk doing the double and looking towards a rematch against Daniel Dubois, British great Lewis called for 35-year-old AJ to face Fury. He told TNT Sports: "He goes to London, the biggest fight in history, maybe Anthony Joshua.". Fury stormed out of the ring when the decision was called out - leaving questions over his future for promoter Frank Warren to answer.
And Warren said: "I don't know, I mean he's very disappointed as I am. "I'm not saying this to be biased, everyone along the front there we all thought it was the same way.". Asked if 36-year-old Fury will fight again, Warren replied: "That's up to him. "It's too early, it's just after a fight emotions are running high. We'll see. It's nuts. Could you only give him four rounds out of eight?".
