He is best known as the winner of the tenth season of Love Island in 2023, alongside Jess Harding. The pair beat Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki in the final to win the £50,000 prize. Before entering the villa, Sammy was a project manager. Nowadays he's an influencer and a Towie star who has collaborated with brands such as McDonald's, Boohoo Man and Intimissimi.

Despite being crowned the winners of Love Island 2023, Sammy and Jess are no longer in a relationship. The winning couple split just two months after leaving the villa. It was initially reported that the former islanders were close after leaving the show, even meeting each other’s families.
But sadly, despite being the fan favourites, they struggled to make their relationship last in the outside world. Jess told him it was over by phone - choosing not to wait for a face to face conversation before making the news public in early December 2023.
Sammy was left stunned when news of their split leaked online while Jess was partying in Ibiza with pals. Previously speaking about his breakup from Jess, Sammy said: "To be totally clear - I at least wanted a face to face conversation to see if our relationship could be saved and felt this would be a respectful way forward.
