Why Netflix have made a huge error cancelling ‘exciting’ documentary ahead of Six Nations Drive To Survive has been one of Netflix’s biggest hits in recent years, diving into the nitty gritty of Formula One and introducing it to a far wider audience, many of whom had little to no interest in the sport before.

While the other shows have helped boost their respective sports, Netflix seemingly felt Full Contact didn’t leave as strong a mark, cancelling the show before its second season hit the streamer this week.
If treated properly a show like Full Contact could really expand rugby into new territories and make it more popular in countries that form its backbone.
More importantly unlike Tennis, Golf and other sports, there isn’t a built-in international fandom for the sport, countries like Ireland and New Zealand, who have dominated on the field, have a tiny population.
