Yoane Wissa clearly had no doubts that his team-mate Bryan Mbeumo would score his retaken penalty in Sunday's 2-1 victory at Crystal Palace. The scores were level midway through the second half when Collins was brought down under Lacroix’s challenge and referee Tony Harrington pointed to the spot.
The forward stepped up to take the spot-kick and saw his effort crash back off the post. However, he was handed a reprieve as VAR deemed that defender Marc Guehi had encroached while it was taken. And eagle-eyed fans noticed something interesting as the Bees man stood up to take the penalty.
