Zendaya appears to confirm Tom Holland engagement with Golden Globes jewellery

It’s the engagement announcement we’ve been anticipating for years. Ever since Zendaya and Tom Holland were confirmed to be dating during the press tour for Spiderman: No Way Home in 2021, fans have eagerly awaited the day that Queen Z donned a sparkly diamond on the fourth finger of her left hand.
And last night, at the 2025 Golden Globes, Zendaya did exactly that. Stepping onto the red carpet in a copper, sweetheart neckline gown by Louis Vuitton, the Challengers actress was as well dressed as ever. So well dressed, in fact, that people initially failed to notice the whopper of a rock on her finger.
Now, hours later, the internet is alight with discussion over whether Zendaya and Tom Holland are engaged. While Zendaya didn’t directly confirm her engagement at the Golden Globes, the world has fully taken it as a given. And they may well be right: HBO Max, the streaming service responsible for Zendaya’s hit show Euphoria, tweeted an image of Zendaya wearing her ring with a clip from the show that seems to confirm her engagement.
The clip comes from season two episode five of Euphoria, where the character of Maddy (Alexa Demie) questions Rue (Zendaya) over when she witnessed two other characters kiss. “Rue, when was this?” Maddy asks. “Right after New Year’s,” Rue responds. The account appears to be making a parallel between Rue’s discovery and Zendaya’s engagement happening around New Year’s Day.
Tom Holland, 28, and Zendaya, 28, have been publicly dating since 2021, when a paparazzi picture of them kissing in a car exposed their relationship to the world. However, it is believed that they first started dating in 2016, after filming the first film in their Spiderman franchise, Spiderman: Homecoming. In 2017, a source told People that the pair were romantically involved.
