A traveler has been left fuming after hopping on board a five-hour flight to find his 'window seat' had no window. The man was so furious he posted a photo of the wall by his head on Reddit. And while admitting he would 'live' he said he was infuriated.
The man's post appeared popular - with others complaining they had suffered the same after previously. 'This happened to me once - now I always cross check the planes to work out which row has no window,' one man said. 'I would actually riot. People pay good money to have a window,' one said.
'This would be worse if the people on either side were the type to have their blind down the whole time,' added a third. 'Oof. That happened to me a few months ago on a 16 hour flight.'. Others chose to look on the bright side. 'At least you won't get sucked out the window,' one man said. 'On the bright side - no UV to damage your skin and give you cancer,' added another. 'It is still better than being on the aisle though,' said a third.
One woman revealed why some seats are windowless. 'I work on planes - there is at least one row on every plane that has this, it is so the cords for the aircon and lighting can be fed through to the plane,' she said. Others attempted to lighten up the post by drawing windows on the wall and reposting the photo.
