Manchester United flop Antony has given his verdict on his loan move to Real Betis. Ruben Amorim has allowed Antony to leave United on loan following his struggles at the club. Antony has declared that he is 'so happy' to be linking up with Real Betis. As reported by Relevo, he told reporters at the airport: 'I'm so happy, I'm ready'.

Antony will be eager for a fresh challenge having not started a single league game for United this season. Olympiacos had previously expressed an interest in signing Antony on loan, but Mail Sport understands that he didn't want to play for the Greek club.

Real Betis are currently in 12th place in LaLiga and are also through to the knockout phase play-offs in the Europa Conference League, where they will take on Gent. Antony will be looking to play regularly and show the kind of form that led to United signing him.
