A CAR has driven into a group of people in the German city of Munich, leaving at least 15 people injured, local media reports. The horror crowd plough comes just before the Munich Security Conference starts on Friday, with US Vice President JD Vance and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arriving later today. The incident apparently occurred at a Verdi rally - a Berlin-based German trade union, Bild reports.

There is currently a large-scale police operation underway near the central train station and officers are working to verify what has happened, a spokesperson said without providing details. Unconfirmed reports from eyewitnesses in the horror incident claim there were two men involved in the crowd plough, with one of them shot by police and carried away, according to BR24. Munich cops said on X: "A vehicle drove into a group of people at the scene. Several people were injured.
