And no one understands that better than the celebrities vying for attention with their racy collections, designed to set hearts racing on February 14. The UK is predicted to spend a total of almost £1.5billion on Valentine’s Day, according to research.

From famous faces with jaw-dropping figures like Abbey Clancy and Kim Kardashian to reality stars Molly Smith and Amber Turner, a host of celebrities are cashing in on the occasion. Whether you're happily single or loved-up, ready to splurge or hunting for a bargain, there’s a celebrity lingerie range to suit everyone. Supermodel Caprice Bourret’s range for high street retailer Peacocks is full of pretty pieces and cheeky nightwear sets. With prices starting from £4 for thongs, it’s one of the more affordable - and modest - celebrity lines, with dozens of options that include pastel colours and cute, cherry-themed pyjamas. Despite her split from long-term boyfriend Dan Edgar last year, TOWIE star Amber Turner isn’t letting that dampen her Valentine’s spirit. The 30-year-old has modelled lingerie before, but her latest campaign for Nikki Intimates is being hailed as her “most sultry & sexiest collection ever”, according to the UK lingerie brand.
