It’s almost that time again when BBC viewers witness a budding group of entrepreneurs hopeful to secure an investment on The Apprentice. A new batch of candidates will embark on a series of tasks and challenges to prove they have what it takes to be Lord Alan Sugar’s next business partner.
Last year, BBC viewers saw boutique fitness studio owner Rachel Woolford walk away with a hefty £250,000 investment, and it’s almost time to see who will follow in her footsteps. Ahead of the series airing, which is expected to land on BBC One in February, the broadcaster has given a glimpse at what to expect this year.
A voice-over can be heard over a series of clips saying, “This time, the most demanding season yet. The Apprentice, coming soon on BBC One and iPlayer.”. The clips show Karen Brady with her notepad in hand, pulling an impressed face. The next features Tim Campbell, wide-eyed and clearly unimpressed with something the candidates have done.
Lord Sugar isn’t holding back either, as he’s seen giving one entrepreneur a grilling in the boardroom. He scolds: “This was a disaster. You’re fired.”. Although it’s not yet been confirmed when the series will air, the small trailer has excited fans, who quickly commented on the clip, which Lord Sugar himself shared on Twitter.
