Bernie is married to wife Fabiana Flosi, whom he met in 2009 at the World Motor Sport Council, with her working as the vice-president of marketing for the Brazilian Grand Prix. They then tied the knot in 2012 at his chalet, Le Lion, in the exclusive resort of Gstaad, Switzerland.

Their nuptials came just three years after Bernie divorced his second wife Slavica Radić, who is the mother of Tamara and Petra. The couple went on to welcome son Ace, three, in July 2020, making Bernie one of the world's oldest known fathers at 89 years old.
