THIS is the bizarre moment IRGC officials staged a mock arrest of Donald Trump on state TV after the US president threatened to "obliterate" Iran. Dramatic footage shows a man wearing a Trump mask walking alongside Iranian soldiers on the streets after being arrested. Wearing a signature blue suit and red tie, the Trump replica was put in gold chains and was paraded in a procession attended by the Iranian people.

The propaganda video, shared by Iran's state TV with ties to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), also showed the Trump look-alike with what appears to be a liquor bottle. Trump is known to be a teetotaller and claims he has never consumed alcohol in his life. The video comes after Trump gave strict orders to his Secret Service team to completely "obliterate" Iran if they ever assassinate him.

Trump, 78, responded to a question over what protocols would instantly be triggered should he be killed by an Iranian plot by saying there is already a plan set. He said: "I've left instructions if they do it, they get obliterated, there won't be anything left.". Federal authorities have been tracking Iranian threats against Trump and other US administration officials for years. It was revealed in November, that an Iranian agent had been charged with plotting to kill Trump in an assassination that would have shaken the world.

Two hitmen were arrested as part of an alleged for-hire plot to take out Trump before the November 5 election. Trump has since revealed he has left a detailed plan with his team on what to do if he is ever assassinated by his enemy. Trump's threat could prove to be a dead man's switch - which is a safety design used to activate or deactivate something if the user can't operate it anymore. The Republican also said that he signed an executive order calling for his government to impose a "maximum pressure" policy on Tehran.

This includes hitting the cash-strapped nation with even more sanctions and restricting its nuclear policy even further. Trump even suggested he was open to negotiating with Tehran if the mullahs agreed to it. But Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei strongly rejected any negotiations with the United States over Iran's nuclear program. Several nuclear experts have warned that Tehran could produce a bomb in as little as six months from one of its "covert" nuclear hubs.

Tehran is thought to harbour considerable stores of uranium - just shy of the weapons grade level needed to make an atomic bomb. Satellite photographs are exposing the hubbub of activity at the secretive fuel enrichment complex. The snaps, shared by the Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS), reveal just how hard Iran is working to construct an indestructible, formidable nuclear base.

Some experts worry Iran could be building a nuclear bomb - or hiding its efforts to do so - possibly inside the secretive bunker. Policy director at Arms Control Association Kelsey Davenport previously warned: "Iran is sitting on the threshold of nuclear weapons; it can build a bomb more quickly than at any point in its history.". She revealed that Tehran could carve out enough weapons-grade uranium for a nuclear bomb in as little as six months.

IRAN has appeared to take assassinating Donald Trump seriously after he killed Qasem Soleimani in a 2020 airstrike. The death became a major sore point for the country as the Iranian Revolutionary Guard controls much of the state's military power. Important figures in the country like one Iranian spy said Trump should be executed. Trump wanted Soleimani to be assassinated because he claims the military leader had killed or wounded thousands of Americans - and was "plotting to kill many more.".

On January 3, 2020, Gen Soleimani had landed after travelling from either Syria or Lebanon at around 12.30am when he was met by Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy commander of the pro-Iran Popular Mobilization forces in Iraq. As the cars passed through a cargo area for an access road leading out of the airport, the vehicle was struck by at least two missiles by a US MQ9 Reaper drone which was being controlled remotely.
