Bradley Walsh, who is well known for presenting ITV's The Chase and BBC's Gladiators, is set to embark on a new adventure. The 64-year-old telly favourite is set to front the new documentary series Bradley Walsh: Egypt's Cosmic Code. Set to premiere on Sky HISTORY this March, the three-part series will follow Bradley as he realises a lifelong ambition to delve into the mysteries of Ancient Egypt's iconic monuments, seeking to comprehend how these 'wonders of the ancient world' came into existence some 4,500 years ago, according to the show's description.

The beloved presenter, who harbours a profound fascination with Ancient Egypt, will be showcased in a fresh light to viewers as he indulges his enthusiasm for engineering, offering various hypotheses and inquiries throughout the programme. As per the series outline, Bradley's grand tour of the 'Land of the Pharaohs' will see him joined by Dr Meredith Brand from the American University in Cairo and Dr Arto Belekdanian, sharing his wonder at the pyramids.

Kicking off with an exploration of pyramid construction evolution, Bradley will apply his engineering expertise starting with King Djoser's Step Pyramid, then onto Pharaoh Sneferu's Red and Bent Pyramids at Dahshur, and culminating with the Great Pyramid at Giza, reports the Express.

A synopsis reveals: "This provides the platform for his further investigations into the riddle of The Sphinx, its provenance, and its ancient symbolism, which experts have long argued over, before he embarks on his quest to unravel the significance of the Egyptian preoccupation with death and the afterlife.
