A star from Bridgerton looks worlds away from her character in a new romantic comedy. Simone Ashley, who played Kathani "Kate" Sharma/Bridgerton in the Netflix hit, stars in Picture This, a new rom-com set to be released on Prime Video. Struggling photographer Pia, played by Simone Ashley, receives a prediction that true love and career success await her on the next five dates she goes on. With her sister's wedding looming and family playing matchmaker, her ex-boyfriend, played by Hero Fiennes Tiffin reappears, throwing both her love and professional life into chaos.
The trailer, released on Tuesday afternoon (February 11), shows Pia's attempts to forge her own path in life as her friendly but overbearing family watches on. Viewers saw Pia's awkward dates while she reconnects and bonds with her ex-partner. Picture This will be released globally on Prime Video on Thursday, March 6. The wider cast includes comedian Sindhu Vee, The Wheel of Time's Luke Fetherston, Indian Summers actor Nikesh Patel and Citizen Khan's Adil Ray.
