Christian Cowan showcased his fall/winter 2025 collection during New York Fashion Week. The runway show took place at The Glasshouse, a private even space on 12th avenue on Manhattan's west side. Known for his bold, playful, and avant-garde approach to fashion beloved by celebs like Lady Gaga and Lil Nas X, Cowan often transforms unlikely materials and concepts into high-fashion statements. This season's collection was an homage to his dear friend, Abbie McLachlan. 'She was a huge supporter of my business and she passed away a few months ago,' Christian told Daily Mail backstage after the show. 'She was just a total angel and she loved shoes. Loved, LOVED, loved a good high heel and so I thought we have to have a few styles with high heels. 'We partnered with Designer Show Warehouse who are an amazing partner and they just gave me hundreds of pairs of shoes to play with.'.

'My original designs kind of went out the window once I had the physical shoes in hand. It's really just about working out how the shoes respond to the body, how it fits,' he said. 'I've done underwear dresses before but I like this idea of taking underpinnings and your accessories and just making a look out of them, I think that's fun.'. Models walked the runway in their own unique style - another nod to Abbie. 'Her love of cinematic campery - she just loves fun. She didn't like a boring fashion walk she liked something that brought people a smile, so I thought let's give them a walk that Abbie would love.
