Darts fans have jokingly backed Stephen Bunting to beat Luke Littler after it was revealed he is two months younger than football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. While Bunting may not possess a similar physique to the Portuguese superstar, he does have a significant amount of talent on the oche. And he also has a sizeable fanbase who have rallied behind him ahead of his semi-final.

Replying to a Twitter post which had pictures of Bunting and Ronaldo side by side, one said: "One is top of his game and one is not." Another added: "But has Ronaldo done it at ally pally?". A third joked: "Tbf, Bunting has a better chance of becoming a world champion." A fourth said: "Bunting is still competing at the highest level of his sport.".

A fifth said: "One is the absolute peak iteration of the male form, the other is a footballer." A sixth concluded: "One's a top athlete competing with the best in the world, the other's in Saudi Arabia taking early retirement.". HAVE YOUR SAY! Who will win the World Darts Championship?
