The Season of Witchcraft could hook in Diablo 4 players, as well as Diablo 3 fans, with a select few of the Witch Doctor's powers making their debut alongside the Armory. Diablo 4 Season 7 is fast approaching and it could be shaping up to be the best yet; mostly because of the some Diablo 3 features coming to the game. Season 6 offered a ton of reasons for lapsed players and newcomers alike to dive in, but Season 7 might have it beat. While there's no new class on the horizon just yet, after the Spiritborn's debut alongside the Vessel of Hatred DLC which landed last October, the incoming Witchcraft powers are enough to get us excited.
From a Poison Frog Servant to a Piranhado – yes, that's exactly what it sounds like – the Diablo 4 Season 7 release is one to look forward to. The Witchcraft powers can be used by all classes and are a new seasonal mechanic, like the Vampiric powers from Season 2, and there are a total of 24 powers spread across four schools; although technically, according to Blizzard, it's three schools and a handful of other that come under Lost Powers.
The Armory is also making a comeback and will be a permanent fixture in both the Eternal and Seasonal Realms after it rolls out alongside the Diablo 4 Season 7 release And of course, with a new season comes new characters and enemies. In this instance, the Witches of Hawezar Coven will be sending you off to investigate the missing captive Heads from the Tree of Whispers, and hunt down the Headrotten to earn the new currency, Restless Rot, which you can use to unlock and upgrade your new Witchcraft powers.
