Everyone has made a drunken food delivery order at some point in their life - but few can say they spent $1,000 in a single splurge. Ella Grif, who is based in Chicago, posted a video to TikTok showing the mountains of fast food that had been delivered to her apartment after a housemate placed a massive order following a big night out. 'This was her $950 Uber Eats order,' Ella said, showing the picture of the take out bags near the doorway.

'So yeah, $950 worth of pizza,' she shared. To make matters worse, Ella's roommate was out in Miami at the time - so wasn't even home to accept the delivery. 'It was delivered to our Chicago apartment,' she explained. As a punishment for her drunken mistake, Ella said her roommate now has to fetch all future household deliveries from downstairs. In a follow-up video, Ella broke down the whopping order and how it cost so much money.

Everyone's made a drunken food delivery order in their life - but few can say they spent $1000 on questionable pizza toppings. 'Doing the math on this order that cost $950,' she explained, showing her roommate on Uber Eats, selecting pizzas to order. The mistake she made, however, was adding multiple toppings which came at a hefty $5 per ingredient. 'She got every single topping option available on the pizzas,' Ella explained. 'We couldn't eat it the pizzas had every topping imaginable.'.

Users were both shocked and amused by the hungry blunder. 'I'm starting to not feel so bad about my latest drunk Uber eats orders... you really take the cake,' joked one user. 'This IS WILDDDD. I will never get over it,' another wrote. 'Eat it or throw it out or give it to a homeless person. Not hard to figure out hahaha,' suggested someone else. 'How are y'all annoyed? You didn't pay for the food, she did. If anything it's free food for you and all your friends,' pointed out another.

To make matters worse, Ella's roommate was in Miami at the time - so wasn't even home to accept the delivery. Users were both shocked and amused by the blunder, commenting on the videos. Many pointed out it was lucky the food was delivered at all, with users often missing out on their orders due to mishaps. One customer recently ran to Reddit's Mildly Infuriating thread to share their bizarre encounter.

The customer shared a picture of a handwritten note, writing: 'Third party food delivery services are not a good idea.'. The note itself read: 'Hi, your Uber Eats driver ate lunch in our store when your order was already ready to go. 'I've remade it fresh. Give him one star.'. The post, which has since been deleted from the platform, was met with commenters who were equally surprised by the driver's actions.
