Emmerdale’s Jack Downham appears to have confirmed Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) will survive the limo crash. On Friday, Charity was assigned as a driver for one limo that had arrived in the village, while Caleb Miligan (William Ash) decided to sit behind the wheel of the other one.

In the vehicle with Caleb, a bunch of male residents and Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley). In the other, a number of female characters – and Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson). The end of the instalment ended with both limos crashing. As the aftermath unfolds in tonight’s episode, we will learn that Charity swerved her vehicle to avoid hitting Noah Dingle, who had stumbled into the road. Intriguing. Ahead of the scenes that reveal just what Noah was doing in the middle of the night, Emmerdale has shared a behind the scenes video of actor Jack Downham as he enjoys a few days of evening filming.

After praising the crew, Jack confirms he’s been ‘laying on the ground all day today’ and that Emma, who plays Noah’s mum Charity, has had ‘all the hard work’ running around ‘trying to find me [Noah] in these woods’. In another clip, we can see Emma filming as Charity. She is, as Jack mentions, searching the woods for Noah but given timing of the limo crashes, we know this specific scene will happen later – meaning Charity will survive.
Thank goodness. To preserve the twists for viewers, Metro has agreed not to confirm who is directly involved in the scenes airing tonight, who is dead or which car has made the plunge into the icy depths until after it has transmitted on TV. However, what we can reveal is that one is plunged through the ice and seems to have met a watery grave. It’s just the beginning of the ordeal and we already know that the end of the week will show a vigil held by grieving villagers.
