And it's perhaps no surprise to see that the Toffees enter as favourites to clinch maximum points against their struggling opponents. Everton have won four of their last five Premier League games, which more than they had in their first 20 matches under previous boss Sean Dyche.

They've also found their shooting boots having scored 12 goals in their last five Premier League games, more than they had in their previous 16!. Forward Beto has been instrumental in Everton's resurgence, scoring four goals in his last three top-flight matches to help steer the club well clear of the relegation zone.

The Toffees now sit in 14th position - one point above Manchester United - and a further 13 clear of 18th-placed Ipswich Town with 13 games of the campaign remaining. However, despite their struggles - Manchester United aren't exactly the ideal opponents.

Everton have lost their last five Premier League games against Manchester United, failing to score in the last four. They last lost five consecutive league games without reply against an opponent vs Wolves between 1957 and 1960. Can Ruben Amorim's side capitalise on their recent head-to-head record?.

If they are to clinch a much-needed win, they'll need to bounce back from their miserable 1-0 defeat to Tottenham last week. It was the 10th time that United had failed to score in the Premier League this season - the joint-most games in which the Red Devils have failed to score in a single season in the competition.

United have scored just one first half goal in their last 10 Premier League games, with that a Bruno Fernandes penalty against Brighton in January. They have, however, already beaten Everton 4-0 this season although Amad Diallo (injured), who provided two assists that day, and Marcus Rashford (loan) who scored a brace, won't be featuring this weekend.

The 20-time English champions, who sit in 15th position, are also without Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro Martinez. Odds are correct at the time of publication and are subject to change. William Hill £60 welcome bonus. William Hill: Claim £60 welcome bonus - click here*.

As mentioned, Everton forward Beto is enjoying a purple patch. The striker has scored four goals in his last three Premier League games. He's averaging a goal every 88 minutes and has a shot conversion rate of 40% under David Moyes. He's also scored in each of his last three Premier League appearances – the last Everton player to score in four consecutive games was Richarlison. He's more than capable of extending his goalscoring run against a depleted Manchester United side this weekend.

Everton vs Man Utd. Abdoulaye Doucoure should return to Everton's starting XI following his one-match suspension. The midfielder, 32, has a habit of picking up bookings against Manchester United. In fact, he's been carded seven times in 15 games against the Red Devils in his career - the highest of any side he's ever faced.

No Everton played has committed more fouls in home league matches this season than Doucoure (21), while Saturday's referee Andy Madley has carded him four times since the 2021/22 season. *William Hill. 18+.
