Former Modern Family star Rico Rodriguez is unrecognizable as he steps out for Cobra Kai red carpet

Modern Family alum Rico Rodriguez looked unrecognizable at the last ever Cobra Kai premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. The 26-year-old actor shot to fame aged just 10 playing Manny Delgado on the acclaimed ABC sitcom... but he's all grown up now!. Rico stepped out with his sister and fellow actress Raini Rodriguez, 31, at Netflix's special premiere event at The Egyptian Theatre Hollywood and rocked a long curly hair do and beard.

Showing off his matured fashion sense, he wore an Off-White dark blue denim jacket over a black t-shirt and black trousers. Completing his ensemble, Rico wore a pair of black rimmed glasses. Rico became part of the Modern Family cast when he was just 10 years old. His character Manny was a sweet and smart boy with a great sense of humor, who was overprotective of his mom Gloria Delgado Pritchett played by Sofia Vergara.

Modern Family ran for 11 seasons - 250 episodes - from 2009 until 2020. Modern Family alum Rico Rodriguez is all grown up since appearing on the sitcom. The show also starred Ed O'Neill, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Sarah Hyland, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Ariel Winter among others.

Despite his young age, Modern Family wasn't the actor's first role. Rico had previously had small parts on My Name is Earl, Nip/Tuck, ER and NCIS, after following his sister Raini into acting. Before the final season of Modern Family, he shared how difficult it would be to say goodbye to his onscreen family. 'That's going to be tough. I've been on this show for 11 amazing years and this is my family,' he told HollywoodLife.

'They're my second family, so I know that once we've finished in March, I am going to think we're going to come back and start up in July.'. Rico added to the publication: 'It's going to be weird when that time of the year comes around again and we know we're not going to get together to start filming again. 'It's definitely going to be weird and an adjustment period.'. Rico rocked a long curly hair do and beard, and completed his look with black rimmed glasses.

Elsewhere at Wednesday's premiere, Cobra Kai stars Tanner Buchanan and Mary Mouser revealed their relationship as they posed for photos together on the carpet. The following day, Tanner, 29, and Mary, 28, posted a joint statement on Instagram joyously revealing: 'We're so happy to finally share that we're engaged.'.
