Marnie Simpson has announced the gender of her third child in a touching Instagram post. Earlier this month, Marnie, 33, announced that she's expecting another baby with her husband Casey Johnson. The reality TV star - best known for having been on Geordie Shore - and her partner Casey, 29, already have two sons together. The couple, who got married in 2023, are parents to Rox, five, and Oax, two - who were part of the announcement.
She shared the news with fans on Instagram, posting a compilation video of highlights from the pregnancy so far. The footage included a clip of a positive pregnancy test as well as showcasing some baby scans. The video also showed Marnie and former Union J member Casey cradling her baby bump whilst at home. Rox and Oax were then seen holding up baby scans at one point in the video, before the family came together in a clip.
Alongside the video, Celebrity Big Brother finalist Marnie teased over their family expanding, with her having written in the caption of the post: "Here we go again …" Casey reacted in the comments section: "Can't wait to meet our baby.". Now, less than a week after her pregnancy announcement, Marnie has shared her unborn baby's gender in a sweet post. The expectant star posted a video of herself cutting a cake the words "It's a....." on it, before cutting the cake to reveal whether the icing inside of the sweet treat was pink or blue.
After slicing open the cake, Marnie and Casey revealed that they are expecting a baby girl. After sharing the video, Marnie's celebrity pals rushed to congratulate the couple as her fellow Geordie Shore star Sophie Kasaei penned: "The best blessing ever she’s going to be the most precious beautiful little girl ever." Love Island star Kady McDermott commented: "Ahhhh a little princess! So happy for you.".
Elsewhere, TOWIE star Lauren Goodger added: "Oh my god perfect. So happy for you all congratulations xxx." And Celebs Go Dating star Lauryn Goodman wrote: "Ahhh congratulations! Such a bless having both genders. So different! Her brothers will protect her! So happy for you guys.".
Marnie recently gave an insight into parenthood towards the end of last year whilst celebrating her eldest son Rox's fifth birthday. She wrote in a message on Instagram for the occasion in October: "Today we celebrated my beautiful Rox's 5th birthday.".
She continued: "The most wholesome day filled with love. I truly have no words for how fast the time has gone, I feel like I blinked and you are 5. My funny, outgoing, wild & UNIQUE boy, words can't describe how much I love & adore you. I love watching you grow but want you to stay little forever. You make me and daddy proud every single day. love you always my special boy.".
