Gino D’Acampo has been blasted by Kim Woodburn, his former I’m A Celebrity camp mate as she calls the chef a ‘full-of-himself little pig’. Woodburn, 82, appeared in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2009 and came in as runner-up to the jungle King D’Acampo, 48. The star who first found fame in her 60s when she presented the Channel 4 series How Clean Is Your House? suggested in a new interview that D’Acampo was given a ‘good edit’ to look good.

Woodburn alleged that he made her feel uncomfortable during the series and stroked his crotch, cheated in trials, swore at the crew, and had to be escorted off the set. ‘He was a horrible, vile man. A full-of-himself little pig,’ she told The Sun. She also referenced one specific incident when D’Acampo stroked his private parts and spoke to his penis: ‘He used to stand over a log and stroke his privates over his shorts. He’d talk to his penis saying, “I know you haven’t had any sex, but when you get out of here, you will get so much”.’.

TV Programme, Australia - 01 Dec 2009 Things got a little touchy feely in the 'I'm A Celeb' jungle today after Kim admitted she was missing George and needed a man. The end result was that both Gino and Stuart are flirting with her, kissing her hand and complimenting her. Gino commented: ?She?s a voluptuous woman and she will always be randy. I know she likes the attention and so do I so we play with each other.? Meanwhile, following on from all the female flesh flashing that has been carrying on in the jungle Gino decided to get in on the action. She recalled that he called his penis ‘deprived and neglected’. ‘His language to the crew was disgusting. He called this producer a ‘f****** b******’ and “****”, then refused to leave the set. ‘We had to stop filming while two men took him by the arm and forced him off the set back to the camp. They should have thrown him off the show. Ghastly it was.’. She also alleged that he treated the crew like ‘garbage’ and made several people cry. Woodburn also added that ITV was ‘wrong to keep him on the set’.

These allegations from Woodburn come as D’Acampo has been accused of inappropriate behaviour by various former colleagues. It has been alleged that he ‘thrust his crotch’ at a female colleague and is ‘slowly being sidelined’ by ITV as dozens of people have come forward to make claims about the TV chef. Since the allegations have arisen his shows have been ‘pulled from schedules’. The TV star’s lawyer responded to the allegations of inappropriate behaviour with a statement: ‘This allegation from almost 15 years ago has never, until now via a media request for comment, been raised or put to Mr D’Acampo.
‘He does not recall it, nor accept that this happened. Mr D’Acampo is horrified to be accused of “power play” and an “aggressive act”. He emphatically and unequivocally denies these allegations.’. D’Acampo said in a full statement: ‘I have been told by ITN news that allegations have been made about me acting inappropriately, some dating back over ten years ago. ‘I have never been made aware of these matters previously and the allegations are firmly denied. I would not do anything that I thought would upset or distress anyone. This is simply not in my nature. I do not recognise the version of events being put to me.
‘Not only have these allegations never been raised with me before, I have been repeatedly supported by executives at the highest level and was commissioned on prime-time programmes during the period in which it is now suggested I was acting inappropriately. ‘I am a father, husband and have worked with well over 1,500 people on around 80 productions in my career, which I have been so proud of. I take such matters extremely seriously and the suggestion that I have acted in an improper way against is deeply upsetting.’.
