Resurfaced interviews have revealed Gordon Ramsay ‘felt sick’ when he found out his daughter was dating Gino D’Acampo’s son. The two celebrity chefs are said to have had a ‘fractured’ relationship in recent years, with reports stating Gordon, 58, raised concerns about D’Acampo’s behaviour two years ago. Allegations against This Morning star D’Acampo, 48, have emerged from dozens of people who have worked with him over a 12-year period on various programmes, with complaints of alleged bullying and sexually inappropriate comments.

His alleged behaviour has been described by some people as ‘unacceptable,’ ‘distressing’ and ‘horrendous’, though D’Acampo has ‘firmly denied’ the accusations, saying they’re ‘deeply upsetting’. Earlier this week, it was claimed Gordon ‘spoke up’ about D’Acampo’s ‘unacceptable behaviour’ two years ago, and that they reportedly no longer speak. It’s now been revealed the Kitchen Nightmares star was furious when his daughter Tilly was dating D’Acampo’s son Luciano in 2019.

The pair were teenagers at the time, and reportedly met on the set of their dads’ ITV Road Trip series with Fred Sirieix. When Gordon discovered they were dating, he called it his ‘worst nightmare’. The discovery occurred over FaceTime while Gordon and D’Acampo were filming their Road Trip show in Mexico.

D’Acampo rung his then-18-year-old, who revealed he was having dinner with Tilly, who was also 18 at the time. ‘Do you know who I’m with?’ Luciano teased D’Acampo, before panning the camera to Tilly. Gordon then butted in: ‘What the hell? Tilly! What are you doing, Matilda?!’. ‘We’re on a date. We’ve gone for dinner,’ the Strictly Come Dancing star replied, laughing that she ‘forgot’ to tell her dad.

Co-star Fred then chimed in with: ‘Guys, remember it’s okay to kiss on the first date. If you feel the urge you’ve got to do it.’. ‘My worst nightmare has come true. I’m going to be sick,’ Gordon said, with his head in his hands. He also branded the romance a ‘f****** nightmare’ while on The Jonathan Ross Show, and D’Acampo later admitted Gordon was ‘annoyed’ by it all. The TV stars first appeared on Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip in 2018, but in 2023 D’Acampo confirmed he would not be returning to the series due to ‘scheduling conflicts’.

‘I’ve got a bit of news for you, and the reason I want to tell you is because I don’t want you to read any crap or any wrong information,’ he said at the time. ‘Last week I decided not to film any more Gordon, Gino and Fred Road Trip, the reason is simple, nothing to do with Gordon and Fred – the friendship is very strong. ‘It’s just because we can’t get the dates together.’. He continued: ‘And when we do get the dates together sometimes they get changed and it causes a lot of problems for me.’.

The Italian chef said contracts got ‘very complicated’, adding: ‘I rather the friendship than get into arguments with contracts, so I’ve decided not to do Gordon, Gino and Fred anymore because I want to be friends with the boys for many many years. So that’s it really, thank you for watching the show.’. D’Acampo and his wife Jessica Stellina Morrison share three children together, having welcomed Luciano in 2002, then another son Rocci, who was followed by daughter Mia in 2014.

Meanwhile, Gordon and his wife Tana have six children, after becoming parents in 1998 to Megan before welcoming twins Holly and Jack the following year, Matilda in 2001, Oscar in 2019, and Jesse in 2023.
