Over the past year, 'tradwife' influencer Hannah Neeleman, also known online by her moniker Ballerina Farm, has made headlines for her sensationally idealistic content. Living on a farm in Utah with her husband and eight children, she frequently posts videos of herself baking beautiful, homemade meals from scratch, wrangling her farm animals on her 328-acre piece of land in Utah, and even competing in various pageants.

Her videos - and brand - have gone viral, as she's amassed a following of nearly 10 million on TikTok - and as it turns out, after trying her products, the fanfare is completely warranted. But her content has also been called into question, as she came under fire in a piece published last July in The Times of London, in which the journalist highlighted some of the things viewers don't see behind-the-scenes, such as severe exhaustion, parenting struggles, and why she stopped dancing professionally. Neeleman's relationship with her husband, JetBlue scion Daniel Neeleman, was also heavily scrutinized after the piece, as the journalist wrote that it was hard to get a moment alone with Hannah, or get an answer 'without her being corrected, interrupted or answered for by either her husband or a child.'.

Yet, despite some of the media storms and controversy, Neeleman and her family, who are of the Mormon faith, have continued to stick it out, and she and her brand still remain popular in the world of social media with a dedicated following. As her content has expanded, so has her business. She began selling her own products straight from her farm itself, creating an opportunity for followers and fans to purchase her various cuts of meat, homemade croissants, sourdough kits, beeswax candles and different types of French salt, among other homegoods.

When we were offered the chance to try out her Saint Valentine's Handmade Pasta Box straight from their farm in Utah, it's safe to say that we were intrigued. On Wednesday, a huge box filled with mild Italian sausage, fresh fusilli pasta, croissants, almond and chocolate granola arrived at our office, along with other goodies like cherry beeswax candles, a red-and-white checkered oven mitt and potholder set, as well as a gorgeous scalloped wood cutting board.

They also included a recipe card to make their Saint Valentine's Sauce, a rich, thick, vodka-style sauce that is meant to be paired with the fresh pasta. The box is a limited-time treat for Valentine's Day, and is meant to bring people together to celebrate the season of love. However, it does come with a significant price tag - the small box retails for $129 plus shipping, and the large box, which includes all of the ingredients in the small box plus the cutting board, comes in at $359 plus shipping.

[To be honest, we weren't sure about the meat at first, as it was coming all the way from Utah on dry ice, but we were pleasantly surprised by its quality and taste]

But coming all the way from Utah to New York, the box was packaged perfectly, and the dry ice had kept everything frozen, and, more importantly, safe and fresh to cook later on. Right off the bat, the first thing we noticed upon opening the package was that you get quite a bit of food - the bag of granola was large at 16 oz, and the sausage was bulky. While most of the food in the box required a full kitchen to make, we tried handfuls of the granola while at our desks, and even sprinkled some on a bowl of Greek yogurt.

After our day at work wrapped up, we raced home to try out the fresh pasta and sauce, which ended up being surprisingly easy to make. The granola was delicious, and truly tasted homemade with a great crunch. It was a great flavor blend of fresh cinnamon and nutty grains, while the chocolate made it much more sweet than savory.
