Helen Flanagan has opened up about the emotional journey that led to her undergoing a boob job. The former Coronation Street star shared a video of herself on Instagram, in which she posed in her bathroom in a lacy pink and leopard print lingerie set. Helen, 34, started the video close up, showing off her flawless makeup, before moving back to reveal her enviable figure in the suspenders and garters.
Alongside the video, Helen penned a long post about her breast enlargement procedure, revealing the specifics behind her operation while also detailing struggles with weight loss and body image. “I get asked a lot about my boob job in my DMs,” she began, before referring to the three children she welcomed with ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair. “I breast fed 3 babies for 3 years in total. At the end you could have tied my boobs in a bow… though I have no regrets at all in breast feeding my babies,” she said, alongside breastfeeding, heart, and sparkle emojis.
“I went with @pallmallcosmetics and I had a Breast Enlargement with Mr Hussain, who made me feel really comfortable and I felt in good hands. I’m glad I didn’t have to have a lift and could have them naturally lifted by the implants…” the I’m a Celebrity star added, alongside the hashtag “ad” for promoting the clinic. Helen then went into detail about how her body changed following her break up with Scott in 2022, after the couple spent 13 years together.
“I lost a lot of weight from my break up and I didn’t want my boobs to be too big for my frame but I needed them to fill out the skin that needed lifting. Now they are just perfect for my frame and I feel they are really natural, like my boobs before by kids,” she said. Helen has recently shared that she’s gained weight after having struggled with her eating habits since the age of 16, when she first started battling an eating disorder. In her new post she explained that she “cried” due to the impact that breast feeding had on her body confidence.
“When I look back to when I really wanted my surgery done it was sad as I didn’t feel confident and sexy with their dad, I always had to have a bra on and I was so self conscious about my boobs,” she admitted. “I remember crying in the shower after feeding Delilah as I just didn’t feel like me and I was so self conscious of my boobs and how the skin just sagged, even though there [sic] dad always said I was beautiful. I knew I wasn’t done having babies though so I waited till after Charlie to have my boobs done.”.
