Winter dressing often feels like a chore. When it's gloomy and cold outside, style goes out the window in favour of pieces that are more practical and - most importantly - warm, and dressing is a case of adding layer after layer. To get us out of a styling rut, we often find it helps looking to our favourite style stars for inspiration. What is your must-buy item this season?. Danielle: My winter must-have is a classic cashmere cardigan - preferably in a pop of red. It's great for layering over roll necks or tees. I also love to style them around the shoulders to add a flash of colour to a simple everyday outfit.

Intimissimi Top. Cashmere top, £45, Intimissimi. Do you have any advice for layering up without looking too bulky?. Danielle: My advice would be to invest in long sleeve tops made from lightweight cashmere, or a cashmere mix. They are great for layering under knits, or even shirts, for some extra warmth without the bulk.
