A CHARITY worker reportedly fell to her death from a motorway bridge while wearing a hospital gown. Dani Tuohy, 25, was declared dead at the scene on the M20 near Ashford, Kent, on January 23. Police were called at 12.58pm following reports of a woman on the bridge shortly before a "serious collision" took place. An inquest heard how Dani was wearing hospital clothing that matched the description of a missing woman.

The charity worker volunteered for Guts UK, which fights digestive diseases. Dani had been diagnosed with gastroparesis, or delayed food transit, in 2018. She opened up about her struggles with the disease previously and was one of a number of ‘Experts by Experience’ (EBEs) the charity used to improve patient care. Dani wrote: "My hobbies nowadays are much more introverted than before I got ill and that took a lot of time to come to terms with, and so I have a lot of spare time on my hands at home.

“I wanted to be an EBE because I want do something meaningful - and what is more meaningful than volunteering for a charity that helps promote patient advocation?. “Patient advocation and standing up against medical gaslighting is something I am so passionate about as I have experienced a lot of medical gaslighting since first getting ill. “I cannot wait to see where being an EBE takes me!". Floral tributes were left at the scene for Dani following the tragedy.
