DEMNAT (2.40 Warwick, nap). He is a solid performer at this level and went close in a much stronger contest than this at Newbury last time. He is a strong stayer who likes some cut and looks hard to beat. ALCEDO (2.30 Exeter, nb). He has taken really well to chasing and landed a battling success at Ffos Las earlier this month. He has a hurdles win on his CV at this track and stepping up in trip can bring further improvement.
ASCENDING LARK (4.00 Exeter, treble). He has won all three hurdles runs including a cosy success on handicap debut at Newcastle latest. There’s more to come. PANAMA BLACK (5.45 Southwell, Lucky 15). He was beaten in a photo at Wolverhampton last week. This slight drop in trip looks a wise move.
