Social media is full of anti-ageing skincare hacks - but one woman said one small change to her apperance has wiped 'years' off her. With hundreds of different products out there promoting anti-ageing ingredients, beauty lover Mattie made a small change to her hair that's meant she doesn't need to spend a penny on any more products. She took to TikTok to say that the hair change has made her look "10 years younger", and urges everyone to do the same.
She has also said beauty-lovers can save their money instead of forking out on pricey serums and cosmetic procedures. Mattie claimed she noticed the benefits "straight away" when she first went out in public. On her @mattie.skincare account, the beauty buff wrote: "POV you spend all your time and money on anti-ageing skincare when all you needed to look younger was a fringe," and showed a number of photos of herself with and without bangs. It's clear she looks much more youthful with the new hair do and added: "Bangs vs Botox… Make it make sense.".
Happy with her decision, she then beamed: "I literally got ID'd for the first time in years recently," and her followers agreed it made her look much younger. The video has racked up 107,000 views and people rushed to the comments to compliment her new look. One viewer penned: "Def!! Takes off like 10 years or so," followed by clapping emojis.
While another said: "You have beautiful skin but the fringe totally suits you!!" and a third joked: "A friend called a fringe "poor man's Botox.'". It comes after one woman shared how she will go to extreme lengths to make sure she never ages and revealed she injects herself with healthy donor fat. Marcela Iglesias is no stranger to having a controversial procedure and has been labelled as a "human Barbie" after undergoing extreme beauty treatments to ensure she never looks old.
