Mura Suru, 27, from Long Island in New York State, boasts of a 'kinky' sex life which is the 'best she's had' with her 54-year-old partner Sam Samson, who is 27 years older than her. Mura's relationship reflects that of Aimee Lou Wood's Chelsea in series three of the HBO drama as she travels to the exclusive hotel in Thailand with her older boyfriend Rick (played by Walton Goggins).

Their difference in age comes into question immediately with the glamorous girlfriend insisting her partner should get a facial after the 'lady in the airport thought you were my dad'. Mura has revealed she often receives similar comments from strangers who mistake Sam for her father when they are out together. She was working as a model when she received a message on Facebook from an older stranger from the East Midlands, in the UK, in 2021.

Despite Sam being 27 years her senior and living on the other side of the world, the pair fell in love over the internet. Within just four weeks, Mura picked out her engagement ring before the couple met in the flesh the following year. But since getting together, Mura's been mistaken for Sam's daughter and accused of being a gold-digger - and Sam has even had to grapple with accusations he has groomed his younger partner.

Mura said: 'Sam and I are living proof that age, and distance, should never get in the way of love.

'In life, it's good to be cautious about large gaps, especially with a much younger partner due to power dynamics. 'But there are plenty of people out there who are different in age gaps, but are better matched. Sam's perfect for me.'. Growing up, Mura had always imagined she'd end up with an older partner. She said: 'My entire life, I'd fancied older men. When I was in school, I had crushes on my teachers. Even as a child I'd never liked playing with kids, and loved speaking with the adults instead.

'During my last few relationships, I'd had 20-year age gaps. Over the years my mum had grown completely used to it.'. In December 2021, the model was enjoying Christmas day with her family when she got a message from Sam. She recalled: 'I instantly recognised his profile. I'd been seeing him in all the Facebook groups I was in for the past two years. We were both in the same band and lifestyle groups. 'His comments online had always been so intelligent and in line with what I felt. I remembered I'd taken a look at his profile before and thought he was super attractive. He looked decades older but I didn't mind.

'So when his message popped up wishing me a happy Christmas, I was so excited. It was the sexy stranger who'd caught my eye. 'I asked what he was doing and he said he was with his son, and ex-wife, having a roast. I thought it was really sweet and we got chatting.'. Shortly after, Mura discovered Sam lived in the East Midlands and he was a manager at a popular food retailer factory. Sam had a son similar to her age, and although he'd been single for five years, he was still waiting for his divorce to finalise.

'Every day after that, Sam and I delved into deep conversations about relationships, and social topics. Our values aligned perfectly,' said Mura. 'We were both proud introverts, sci-fi nerds and horror fanatics. We were the same person. But then, Sam told me he was 51. I was really shocked as he was older than I'd originally thought. 'He looked incredible for his age. I was 24 so it made him 27 years older than me, but I couldn't care less. Neither did Sam.'. The pair began video-calling every night, watching horror films and talking on the phone for almost eight hours at a time.
