IT can often seem impossible to fit everything into a day, especially if you're a busy mum. But one woman thinks she's come up with an ideal solution - getting up at 3am to get cracking on her chores. Rosie is mum to a seven-year-old, a five-year-old and a three-year-old and explained in a post on her TikTok page that while her routine might sound strange to some, it works for her. While she usually goes to bed at 9pm and wakes up at 4am, her day was slightly different on the day she documented - as she fell asleep with her son at 7pm and woke up at 3am to get started.

First up, giving the living room a "little tidy", before putting the dishwasher on and getting the washing out of the dryer. She folded the dry laundry up, before putting it away, and put the kids' "bags, coats, shoes and pram by the door ready to go". Next, she cleaned the sink and hoovered before getting the "kids' learning stuff out". Then it was time to hit the kitchen for some food prep - boiling some eggs for her kids' breakfast, as well as preparing the rest of the breakfast.

Rosie also got a head start on dinner, seasoning the chicken and cooking the rice. She did get chance in between all of that to have a cup of tea "in peace", before she continued her chores by unloading the dishwasher, opening the windows and putting another laundry load on. The last thing Rosie managed to do before her kids stirred was cleaning the toilets and wiping over the sinks. In the comments section, Rosie explained: "I’m naturally an early riser so I’ve always woken early.

"Someone on here said it’s something to do with my brain so I naturally find if easier.". "Curious. What do you do in the day?" one person asked. To which Rosie hit back: "Look after my toddler - you?". And there was one aspect of her cleaning routine that raised a few eyebrows - namely the hoovering. "Hoovering before the child wakes? never. Not worth the risk!" one laughed. "If my next door neighbour was hoovering and washer spinning at that time I’d go crazy," another said.

Well Polished conducted a survey and the results are in!. Most Hated Household Chores. Most Liked Household Chores. Men VS Women: Who Puts the Work In?. Men spend 7 hours 54 minutes a week cleaning. Women spend 12 hours 15 minutes a week cleaning. To which Rosie replied: "We’re detached", alongside some laughing crying emojis. "How do people do hoovering?" a third asked. "I daren't make a noise incase I wake the neighbours - my anxiety is mad at this time!".

While others were more stunned by Rosie's wake-up time. "It's literally the middle of the night!" one gasped. "3am is the time I go to sleep lol," another added. "Admirable that you're able to get up at that time!". "Well I bow down! Incredible!" a third praised. "I wake at 6am and likely still trying to fight my way out the bed by 7:20 and everyone is late for the day in a chaotic meltdown.". "My kids get up as soon as they hear me so I have to stay in bed until their wake up time," someone else said.
