A YOUNG woman has beauty fans racing to pick up a cheap collagen shot. With the winter weather wreaking havoc on our skin, the collagen boosting shot will give it a well needed glow. Collagen is essential to healthy skin and allows it to store hydration.

But as we get older our natural collagen levels decrease meaning we need all the help we can get. Fortunately, Nour has found a budget-friendly collagen boost in a cheap supermarket. Taking to social media she said: "I found collagen shots.". The tiny pink can is filled with beef-made collagen, biotin, Vitamic C and E.

While it might not sound super appertising, it comes in delicious pink berry flavour. And the best part?. While most collagen products are hard to find in a supermarket, these can be picked up in Lidl for just 99p a can. Biotin can help improve your skin, hair and nails, much like collagen.

The clip posted to her TikTok account @nourshealth went viral with over 600k views and 13k likes. Beauty fans were eager to get their hands on the skin-boosting shots. One person wrote: "Don't tell everyone!". Another commented: "how much is a collagen shot?".

"Not in my lidl," penned a third. It's important to note that while collagen-based skincare products may offer benefits, their effectiveness can hugely vary. Some experts suggest that topical application of collagen may have limited effectiveness compared to other skincare ingredients that stimulate collagen production within the skin.
