A heartbroken family has paid tribute after a young woman died four days after a crash in Wales. Charlotte Beynon, 32, was passenger in a BMW which crashed into a bridge just outside Rhayader in Powys on December 3. She was taken to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff but sadly died from her injuries four days later.

The 32-year-old from Burry Port worked as a project manager – and her family say she ‘touched the lives of many’. They also thanked the emergency services and hospital staff for their efforts to try and save Charlotte’s life. In a statement released through Dyfed Powys Police, they said: ‘As all the many tributes pouring in have said “words are never enough”, but now we must write words to honour our beautiful Charlotte who was tragically taken from us whilst in the prime of her life.
