The Masked Singer UK's Carol Decker has revealed she was "upset" over her exit and said she "weren't expecting it". After facing the sing-off against Dressed Crab on Saturday (January 18) night, Tattoo became the fourth character to leave the competition - with T'Pau star Carol revealed to be the voice behind the mask.
Speaking to Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley on Monday's (January 20) This Morning, Carol opened up about her exit, which had left her feeling a little "bemused". "I was a bit bemused because I was very confident in my performances. So, when I ended up in the bottom two, I've got to say, I was a little shocked," she said.
"But I had a great sing-off with Dressed Crab, who had a charismatic voice, a good voice, so you can't be too arrogant about it. "But I was a little shocked. I hate saying this, but my team were quite upset because they weren't expecting it. It's the best thing I've ever done, I was having the most fun and was a bit gutted, to be honest.".
Carol went on to detail her "fantastic" experience on the show and shared some behind-the-scenes tidbits. After joining the cast, the 80s pop star was shown sketches of various characters, and was instantly drawn to Tattoo's "gorgeous" attire. "The process behind everything, the costume department - it's off the scale," Carol explained.
