The Masked Singer has made a return to our TV screens for a new series as a number of stars take to the stage in elaborate disguises to impress the judges with their singing skills in the hopes of being crowned champion. Amongst the undercover vocalists is the iconic ‘Toad in the hole’, who has left the judges baffled after they all interpreted the contestants cryptic clues differently.

Toad In The Hole wears a purple suit, black overcoat, white collar and black trousers, as well as a pie in a blue tin that seems to act as a belt. During a recent episode, the gold toad sang a rendition of Amy Winehouse’s Valerie and the judges complimented their ‘beautiful voice’.

Since then, a number of clues have been given about Toad In The Hole's identity on show. Bookmakers think one of the celebrities that might be hiding in the customer is former BBC Radio 1 star Annie Mac with odds of 4/1. Other guesses also include Macy Gray, who has previously appeared on both the USA and Australian versions of the series with odds of 5/1 and boxing legend Mike Tyson with 10/1.

Mike Reading, spokesperson at Betway, said: “The latest season of Masked Singer UK already promises to stir things up, after week one delivered the showstopping reveals of Dame Prue Leith, Kate Garraway, and even Sir Mo Farah as Giant Joel, in a twist to the show's usual format.
