Jack Vidgen has shared a devastating update on his addiction battle as he revealed he has relapsed. The Australia's Got Talent star, 27, took to Instagram on Boxing Day to share a tearful video where he shared that he has been readmitted to a rehabilitation centre.

Jack, who has been in and out of treatment five times in the last few years, emotionally revealed that he spent Christmas in rehab amid his struggles. He said: 'I relapsed about three weeks ago and I'm back in rehab. It's Boxing Day today, the day after Christmas and I just wanted to give you an update about where I'm at.

'I know I've been MIA on socials for a few weeks and that's why. I don't have a whole lot to say, I feel a lot of shame and guilt and I don't really have the words right now. 'Withdrawals are starting now, it's f**king hectic. So, that's where I'm at.'.

Jack Vidgen has shared a devastating update on his addiction battle as he revealed he has relapsed and spent Christmas in a rehabilitation centre. In a caption, the singer said he was thankful to be in a 'safe space' and addressed how difficult the holiday period can be for so many people.

'It's hard to find the words for how disappointed I am in myself right now and the shame I'm feeling,' he penned. 'This isn't how I wanted to spend my Christmas but I'm grateful to be in a safe place. This is a really hard time of year for so many. 'Please hold each other tightly and check in on those you think may be struggling.
