The 57-year-old will advise Red Bull’s international network of teams – which includes Red Bull Salzburg, New York Red Bulls and RB Leipzig – on coaching matters, playing philosophy, development and recruitment. On Sunday, Klopp was in the stands as RB Leipzig took on Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga and the German was treated to a thriller as the hosts ran out 4-2 winners to keep the pressure on third-placed Eintracht Frankfurt.

‘My plans with him are that he scores more goals like he scored on Sunday. That was a really good one,’ Klopp told reporters when asked what the future holds for Sesko while facing the media today. ‘I was pretty impressed, he played a good game. He’s a good player anyway.
