Rapper Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori are reportedly trying to save their marriage amid persistent divorce speculation. It's said Kanye and Bianca want to give their union a second chance after Bianca made the decision to call time on their relationship at the start of this month. It's claimed the couple, who tied the knot in 2022, are not "ready to give up" on things and have been doing a lot of talking about their romance.
The couple have been plagued with split rumours over recent weeks thanks to a very controversial month which the pair stun onlookers at the Grammy Awards thanks to Bianca posing in a nude dress on the red carpet. After the revealing dress incident, many voiced concerns that Kanye - legally known as Ye - might be exerting coercive control over his 30-year-old second wife. Not only that, the award-winning musician has disgusted many across the world thanks to a string of racist and anti-Semitic outbursts.
The Stronger rapper defended his wife's nude dress on social media before posting homophobic, racist and anti-Semitic comments on Twitter (X) and declaring himself a Nazi. Not only that, the dad-of-four, who shares his children with ex-wife Kim Kardashian, sparked outrage when he began selling shirts with a swastika design on his website.
Kanye's racist outbursts, coupled with the controversy surrounding his wife's nude dress, have led many to speculate if the father-of-four and Bianca are on the brink of divorce. But according to Page Six, the couple aren't giving up on their marriage just yet.
The American publication reports a source claiming Kanye and Australian model Bianca have "decided to make their marriage work again" and have "have done a lot of talking this past week and they’re not ready to give up on each other.". Amid the constant rumours about their relationship, Kanye and Bianca's representative has consistently denied the pair are heading for divorce. Milo Yiannopoulos, a British far-right political commentator, acts as their spokesperson and said earlier this month: "Ye and Bianca are in Los Angeles, about to enjoy Valentine’s Day together.".
He also made it clear that any news on their private life would come directly from them: "Announcements about their private life will come from them directly, not unsourced rumour in the tabloid press." Milo Yiannopoulos even joked about the frequency of false reports, saying: "Is this the fifth or is it the sixth time the press has wrongly reported that Ye and Bianca are separating? I’ve lost track.".
Prior to the statement from their spokesperson, rumours were swirling that the couple had hit rock bottom, with whispers indicating Bianca was on the brink of filing for divorce "a legal filing to end the marriage in the coming days". A source added more fuel to the fire stating, "Both sides have reached out to divorce attorneys.".
It was claimed Kanye's sick swastika stunt, which prompted Shopify to axe his site for flouting rules, was the final straw for Bianca. An informant confided to PageSix, saying, "She's had enough. The swastika shirt [he was selling] was the last straw. She told him that's not who she is, and that she can't be associated with that.".
