DOCTOR Who star Karen Gillan has shared the first photo of her newborn daughter and revealed her sweet name. Actress Karen, 37, confirmed last month she and husband Nick Kocher had welcomed their first child. And she took to Instagram to proudly show off their little girl Clementine.

Karen, who starred as Amy Pond in Doctor Who, glowed in a snap showing her cuddling her daughter, and another revealed proud dad Nick holding the little one. Fans rushed to comment on the upload, with one writing: "Clementine is the cutest name!". Another said: "Congratulations! And take good care of yourself!".

And a third added: "Congratulations beautiful Karen so happy for you.". Last month Karen and Nick were seen during a day out with Clementine, confirming they had welcomed their first child. Karen stunned fans when she revealed her pregnancy in September.

The Scot showed off her growing baby bump as she took to the red carpet in a figure-hugging yellow dress. Karen, who has also starred in Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers films, tied the knot with Nick in her native Scotland in 2022. They said 'I do' at the posh Castle Toward in Dunoon, Argyll.

Nick, who is from Atlanta, Georgia, wore a kilt and arrived at the venue on a speed boat. The screenwriter and actor told of his joy before being whisked away in a car through security gates. A source said at the time: “They must have spent a fortune. The castle and the private ship were spectacular.
