Six years later in the summer of 2019, the pair reconnected at a mutual friend's birthday party and were later photographed kissing in New York City. 'The day that I met her, it was like all bets were off,' the Spencer actress previously said during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show.

The couple got engaged on November 2, 2021, but have yet to tie the knot. Though details on the proposal have not been made public, Stewart previously revealed that the screenwriter popped the question. Back in February, the Underwater star got candid about their relationship and explained how she knew Meyer was the one.
'I found the right person because I can be so obsessive about what I do. And luckily my girlfriend, my partner, we are into the same sh*t,' she shared.
