KYREN WILSON shared a brilliant video of spending some special moments with the World Snooker Championship trophy before having to return it. The snooker champ got his hands on the silverware following his success at the Crucible last May. But Wilson has now been forced to return the trophy to the World Snooker Tour, and he found a humorous way to say goodbye. Wilson, 33, shared a video on social media of himself with the trophy in several romantic and special locations, from sharing a cup of tea to visiting the beach.

He even had a romantic spaghetti date with the trophy and slept with it for one final time. The world champion captioned his post: "Absolutely gutted to be giving back the silver lady to @worldsnookertour. "We’ve had an amazing time together! She will be missed 😢". Fans and competitors found Wilson's video hilarious with many commenting laughing emojis. One reacted saying: "This is brilliant. You will get her back ❤️".

Joe Davis (15), Fred Davis and John Pulman (both 8) were the most successful players during that period. Stephen Hendry and Ronnie O'Sullivan share the record for the most titles in the modern era, with seven each. Most World Titles (modern era). A third wrote: "Absolutely crying laughing 😂". Wilson will be aiming to break the Crucible curse by retaining his title at the World Snooker Championship, which begins in April.
