A mother whose teenager vanished after a night out with friends 19 years ago has revealed how a Volvo could be the key to solving the mystery of her son's disappearance - and her heartbreaking last words to him. Luke Durbin was 19 when he disappeared from Ipswich town centre in the early hours of the morning of May 12, 2006.

The last CCTV image of Luke was captured at 4am and shows him walking across a zebra crossing in the centre of town, towards the local bus stop, however he has not been seen alive by his family since. His mother Nicki has never given up hope and claimed a mysterious car spotted on the night of Luke's disappearance could hold the answers she is looking for.

Speaking to Metro, she said: 'I’ve thought of every scenario there is over and over. Sometimes I think it could have been a hit and run. 'There was a silver Volvo seen at 4.08am, just down the road from where Luke was last seen. I’m sure the driver of that vehicle has something to do with Luke’s disappearance.
