The couple locked themselves in a bedroom and although are fine, are reportedly rather shaken up and found the event ‘traumatic’. A source told The Sun: ‘It was a traumatic experience for both of them but they are relieved that neither of them were injured.

‘Mark did the sensible thing and stayed with his wife to make sure she was OK and they waited for police to arrive before leaving the room. It was a horrible thing to go through, particularly for someone who is heavily pregnant. ‘They are understandably very shaken up by what happened.’.

It was added that police arrived quickly to the scene on Tuesday night and the couple handed CCTV footage over to the police to examine. Michelle, 37, is heavily pregnant with their first child. The couple announced their pregnancy in December 2024 with a sweet baby bump image.

In the photo, taken at sunset on a beach, Michelle is cradling her bump while wearing a two-piece white set while her husband faces her while walking towards her on the sand, with his back to the camera. ‘2025 is going to be a special one for us… 👶🏻,’ they captioned the post.

The former Coronation Street actress and former TOWIE star have been married since 2012. The pair got engaged in September 2013 just nine months after they began dating. On 24 May, 2015, they were married. The couple have been documenting the completion of the home on the couple’s joint social media account.

As they built their home from scratch the couple baffled fans with a full 16 cushions on their luxurious sofa and caused jealousy as they unveiled their sleek, bespoke kitchen and bathroom and multi-story entrance. The home is estimated to be worth around £3.5 million and was built on land the celebrity couple purchased for £1.3million in 2019.
