Molly-Mae Hague has opened up on her tough break-up from Tommy Fury. The former Love Islanders met in 2019 before getting engaged and welcoming baby daughter Bambi to the world. However, they stunned their followers last August with the announcement they were going their separate ways.
Now, as Molly-Mae gets ready to showcase her life further in a no-holds-barred documentary, she has confessed to the difficult period of her life. Speaking in a Q&A in London, the Maebe founder said of the rumours surrounding their split: "I think that for me, above everything, has been the most frustrating part. I actually say in the documentary 'I wish it was a publicity stuff' because it'd be a lot easier, because going through all of this with the turmoil and the breakup has been incredibly hard. To have those comments, and I do see the comments, I see all of them.
"People say, 'oh, this has obviously just been done for long term brand or a publicity stunt', that is very painful, because it's real life. Tommy and I have a baby together, and it's very, very real, and it's a really hard thing that we've both gone through the last six months. I wish it wasn't, because it would have been a lot easier, but it isn't.".
She went on to discuss the documentary further, saying it will help to clear up wrong impressions of their split. "You see the real side to it," she explained. "It's kind of like you're a fly on the wall. And like I say, I think people are going to be quite, not shocked, but I think they'll be quite surprised by how honest we've been.".
